Feel rejected, shut out, or unsure how to help
-
Are afraid of saying the wrong thing—or saying nothing at all
-
Want to support independence without losing connection
If you’ve ever thought:

“Nothing I say helps.”
“Everything turns into a fight.”
“I’m walking on eggshells.”
You’re in the right place.

Why we call it The Lab
We use the word Lab intentionally. This is a space for learning not perfection.
The Parenting Lab includes in-office appointments where parents come in to talk, reflect, and gain clarity, as well as an online Parenting Lab hub (coming soon) with blogs, videos, and practical tools for modern parenting.

What makes The Lab unique
This is not traditional parenting advice.
The Parenting Lab is developmentally informed and nervous‑system aware, meaning we focus on how teens’ brains and bodies actually work not how we wish they would behave.
Instead of quick fixes, we teach parents how to:
-
Contain emotions instead of reacting to them
-
Co‑regulate before trying to reason
-
Listen without immediately solving
-
Repair after conflict instead of spiraling into guilt or blame
Validation is not agreement. It’s emotional safety and safety is what allows growth.
